More bodies discovered

  More bodies were discovered among the ashes today in the wine country fires.

   This brings the total confirmed dead to 38.  More are expected as cadaver dogs search the ashes.

Motorcycle collision in Arnold

   October 14, 2017 at 4:15 PM:  A motorcycle and car have reportedly collided on Hwy 4 and Country Club Drive in Arnold.

   CHP is at the scene. No injuries have been indicated. A tow truck is responding for the Indian motorcycle.

Marijuana farm robbed by COPS??? Sheriff denies it was cops!!

   The Calaveras Sheriff's department has reported that 6 men in two vehicles drove into a cannabis farm on Skull Flat Road in West Point and identified themselves as law enforcement, showing Sheriff badges as ID.

   They left with 500 marijuana plants and a large amount of cash. They also took a black pickup. The Calaveras Sheriff is investigating and deny that they were cops!

Cannabis Farms--Good for Calaveras!!

  Barden Stevenot, who recently passed away, was a winemaker who knew that cannabis was also good for Calaveras County.

Fires still under investigation--Power should be underground???

   Although the wine country fires are all listed as still under investigation, PG&E has been told to preserve all evidence involving downed power lines during last Sundays windstorm.

   It is possible, CalFire says, that the downed lines were the cause of the fires. Isn't it past time that PG&E is forced to put ALL power UNDERGROUND?? PG&E shares dropped in value yesterday out of fear what the cost could be.

Traffic collision in Milton

   October 14, 2017 at 10:05 AM:  A traffic collision has been reported on Hwy 4 at Rock Creek Road in Milton.

 CHP and an ambulance is responding to the scene.

Sierra Sentinel owner accused of being GROWERS??? DiBasilio "wierd, crazy, violent?"

   As everyone knows who reads the Sierra Sentinel, the owner  believes they have not only racist and alcoholic, but "WIERD", "Violent" and "CRAZY" neighbors who have all been reported to the authorities, but now it goes a step further.

Collision in Vallecito

   October 14, 2017 at 10 AM: A collision has been reported on Hwy 4 and Parrotts Ferry Road in Vallecito.

  No injuries have been indicated. CHP is en route to the scene.

Wind Complex Fires in Butte and Nevada counties

  Made up of the Cascade Fire, the LaPorte Fire, the Lobo Fire and the McCourtney Fire, the total acreage burned as of October 14, 2017 at 6:30 AM is 17, 102 and containment is 82%..

   365 structures have been destroyed, and there have been 4 confirmed fatalities.

Mendocino Lake Complex Fires

   According to the CalFire report as of October 13, 2017 at 7 PM, the Redwood and Sulphur Fires are at 36,500 acres and containment is 22%.

   314 residences, 167 other structures have been destroyed and there are 8 fatalities.

Wine Country Fires as of October 14, 2017

   The Central LNU Complex Fires: Tubbs, Pocket, Nuns, Total acres as of October 14, 2017 at 7 AM is 92,370, containment: Tubbs 44%, Pocket 5%, Nuns 10%.

New Fire in Lake County--Long Fire

   A new fire has reached 100 acres in size in Lake County off Hwy 20 and Long Valley Road near Clearlake Oaks.

  No containment is noted in this fire, named the Long Fire.
