   It was so funny to watch the First Wives Club last night, especially during the party they gave towards the end.

Calaveras Sheriff Deputy Dogs continue to harass citizens!!!

   We are hearing more and more complaints about our cartoon appointed Sheriff DiBasilio ordering his deputy dogs to harass hard working citizens.  Are they the Keystone Cops or what???

   One told us they pulled him over in Arnold and asked him if he had a gun, like he was going to shoot them. He had a carry permit. These deputy dogs are not worth what they are paid now, and do NOT deserve any raise, according to most people we have spoken with!!!

InFocus Photography exhibit in Columbia

   The 31st annual InFocus Photography competition and exhibit is taking place in March at Angelo's Hall in Columbia State Historic Park.

Train derailed in Hughson

   February 11, 2018 at 7:50 AM:  A train has derailed and taken out the crossing signs at Santa Fe and Hatch Road in Hughson.

   The intersection is completely blocked as railroad inspectors and HazMat crews arrive at the scene. It doesn't appear any vehicles were involved.

Collision in Mokelumne HIll

   February 11, 2018 at 7:30 AM:  CHP is en route to the scene of a reported traffic collision on Ridge Road at Railroad Flat Road in Mokelumne Hill.

   Debris is in the roadway so be cautious if headed in that direction.
