PG&E wants customers to pay for fire damage-Refuses to put HOT wires underground

   The California legislature has a bill in the works to try and help PG&E with the cost of the wildfires; PG&E wants customers to pay.

   PG&E still does not want to put their hot lines underground, and that is the real answer.

   Fire has been dispatched to the scene.

Homeless woman struck and killed by Caltrans vehicle

   Earlier today a homeless woman was struck and killed along Hwy 99 by a Caltrans heavy equipment vehicle used to clean up homeless encampments in the Modesto area.

   Caltrans has been working daily to clear out homeless encampments along the freeways. The seem to run raids on the camps early in the morning hours.

Mill's political minister lies for Mills

   I have never seen anything like the strange political minister, who backs up Calaveras D4 Mills, no matter what he does, continues to behave in a strange manner.

  Now he says he's an engineer and lies to tell Mills to back him up in Mill's lies. He should have his minister license pulled.

   During the August 28, 2018 Calaveras Supervisor meeting, District 4 Mills was so rude!  He is such a royal creep, that he states 'I HAVE THE FLOOR!"

   He stated that very rudely to his own Planning Director, who DARED to correct his LIES!!!

Two workers killed at Marriott construction site

   Two workers who were between the 6th and 7th floors of the Marriott Hotel, still under construction, were killed when the scaffolding collapsed.

   This hotel is near the Disney World theme park in Florida.

   After the Closed Session on August 28, 2018 of the Calaveras County Supervisors meeting, it was announced that Dennis Ponte has agreed to pay Calaveras County $120,000 as a settlement in that case.
