Oak Fire conditions improve

   As of 1:30 PM on September 23, 2018 CalFire reports that the Oak Fire in Yosemite is coming under containment slowly but surely.

   Total acres burned now is 390 and it is now 30% contained. Evacuations are still in place.

Car through fence on Fricot City Road

   September 23, 2018 at 12:50 PM:  A car reportedly left Fricot City Road and went through a fence into a field.

   No injuries are indicated. A tow truck is responding.

Car vs pole at Camanche

   September 23, 2018 at 12:50 PM:  Another collision reported at Camanche is a car vs. a pole on Camanche Road near Reservation Road on the Amador County side of the lake.

   No injuries were indicated. PG&E was notified.

Major injuries in Camanche crash

   September 23, 2018 at 12:40 PM:  A collision has been reported on Camanche Parkway near Lakeview Drive on the Amador side of the lake.

   Major injuries were indicated in this crash. An ambulance is responding to the scene.

Car vs Stevenot Bridge

   September 23, 2018 at 11:50 AM:  A car on Parrotts Ferry Road has struck the Stevenot Bridge.

   An ambulance and tow truck are responding. Several vehicles have stopped on the bridge.

Car vs. bridge at New Melones

   September 23, 2018 at 11:45 AM: A car has reportedly struck the bridge at New Melones Reservoir.

  An ambulance and tow truck are responding.

UPDATE on Oak Fire near Yosemite

   The Oak Fire near Yosemite is now 375 acres and containment is 10%.

    This is officially in Madera County. Air support is working diligently.

Motorcycle collision in Groveland area

   September 23, 2018 at 10:35 AM:  A motorcycle has collided with another vehicle on Hwy 120 near Smith Station Road near Groveland.

   Emergency personnel are responding to the scene.

49ers at Kansas City

   September 23, 2018 at 10:19AM:  The Niners are in the 1st quarter of their game with the K.C. Chiefs this morning. The Chiefs scored a touchdown.

   The score is 6-0 Chiefs.

Helicopters back up on Oak Fire

  Although CalFire has not yet updated information on the Oak Fire this morning, we do notice that lunches are being prepared for the field.

   We also hear that the helicopters are back up in the air.  We will let you know when we hear the new statistics on acreage.
