Multi-vehicle collision in Jenny Lind

   December 4, 2018 at 12:40 PM:  A multi-vehicle collision has been reported on Hwy 26 at Jenny Lind Road in Jenny Lind.

   Multiple resources are responding to the scene, including an ambulance. Be cautious if headed that way.

Pickup vs. Mobile Home

   December 4, 2018 at 11:30 AM:  A small pickup truck crashed with a mobile home on Hwy 26 and Silver Rapids Road in Rancho Calaveras.

   The pickup ended up partially under the mobile home, causing damage. Fortunately there were no injuries.

Calaveras Supervisors cancel December 11 meeting

   The scheduled Calaveras Supervisor meeting of December 11, 2018 has been cancelled.

   No specific reason was given.

Angels Camp man arrested for Obstruction

   On December 2, 2018 the Calaveras County Sheriff's Office arrested Dustin James Pruden (32) of Angels Camp at the Dollar General Store on Main Street.

   Pruden was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for alleged Obstruction or Resisting an officer, Possession of Controlled Substance Paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Substance and an outstanding warrant for Failing to Appear, all misdemeanors. 

CHP makes vehicle theft arrest

    On December 1, 2018  CHP arrested Jack Steven Gray (50) of Sacramento on Mountain Ranch Road.

   Gray was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for alleged Vehicle Theft, a felony along with several misdemeanors.
