Snowplow now plowing Hwy 4

   May 19, 2019 at 12:25 PM:  A snowplow reportedly just went through Arnold on Hwy 4.  They still haven't posted chain signs.

    Drive carefully. Slow down!

Two collisions in Long Barn on Hwy 108

   May 19, 2019 at 12:20 PM:  Two traffic collisions have now been reported on Hwy 108 in Long Barn.

   Snow is the problem. An ambulance is responding. One car is now stuck out in the snow and trees.

Chain controls on Hwy 88

   May 19, 2019 at 12:10 PM:  Chain controls are up on Hwy 88 at Peddlers Vista in Amador County.

   The snow is reportedly down to 3500' on Hwy 88 and Hwy 4.  We still have not seen a Caltrans plow in Arnold.

Hazard on Murphys Grade Road

   May 19, 2019 at 12:05 PM:   Some type of hazard is now hanging over Murphys Grade Road just outside Murphys.

   Be extra cautious until County Roads can clear the problem.

Comcast truck in collision

   May 19, 2019 at 11:45 AM:  A Comcast truck is reportedly in a collision on Hwy 4 at Northwood Drive near Forest Meadows.

   Two CHP are at the scene. Be cautious if in the area. No injuries have been indicated.

Snowing in Arnold

   May 19, 2019 at 11:40 AM:  It is snowing like crazy in Arnold, at 4000' elevation.

   Drive carefully as it is slippery.  Chain controls will likely be posted soon. 

Car vs fence in Burson

  May 19, 2019 at 10:50 AM:  A car went through a fence on Ospital Road in the Burson area.

   Emergency personnel are responding to the scene.
