UPDATE on Tamarack Fire

   As of 9:30 AM on July 22, 2021 the total is 50,143 acres with 4% containment.

As of 6:30 PM on July 21, 2021 the Tamarack
Fire is 43,900 acres in size.   It has spread more into Nevada now due to winds blowing in that direction.

    Why aren't there big tanker planes over this fire - you only see only helos and spotter planes on Flightradar24 site. Even if a helo dropped retardant it would not be nearly as much retardant as tanker fixed-wing planes!
