Fire at Fricot City

   UPDATE at 4:15 PM:  Fire is now approximately

20 acres.

UPDATE at 3:15PM:  The fire has been modified by air attacks and assistanceneeded has been cut back.   

UPDATE at 2:40 PM:  Location is again changed to Star Canyon Trail at Fricot City Road. Calaveras Sheriff deputies are assisting with evacuations.

UPDATE at 2:20 PM:  More engines and water tenders are now

responding.  Fricot City Road is now closed.

UPDATE:  Air attack reports that the fire is 5 to 10 acres

with structures threatened.

 UPDATE:  Now they believe the fire is at
Ponderosa Way and Fricot City Road, near Rite of Passage.

 September 10, 2022 at 2:05 PM:  A fire has been reported on Ponderosa Way at Michel Road in Mountain Ranch.

    Engines, aircraft, water tenders, bulldozers are responding to the area.
