Central Sierra Economic Development District Meeting

The Central Sierra Economic Development, which was the group to take over when the Central Sierra Planning Council went belly-up, has been working on and produced a lengthy document for the public to review. It is mainly regarding infrastructure project needs in several counties, including Calaveras. The two board appointees on this new board are Merita Callaway and Bertha Underhill.
Beth Hartline, who is in charge of organizing and submitting documents necessary, is very articulate and could pull off getting some projects for public works despite Callaway and Underhill being on the board.
If you would like to review the document visit http://www.csedd.org
They will be meeting Thursday May 10th at 2 PM at Camps Restaurant in Greenhorn Creek. The public is welcome to attend. Please give Hartline a call first at 989-4058 so she will have an accurate count for seating.
