The early morning talk shows on CNN, MSNBC and CNBC were all chirping about the Democratic Convention and President Obama's acceptance speech last night.
One Republican strategist was very downheartened, saying that the only way Romney could win now is if they could move all the hispanics into their camp.
The President did give a rousing speech, taking into account the down economy, and negative attitudes about the Congress, but stirring up his base just the way he needed to.
The Republicans did not get a much needed bump after their Convention. This one was so well orchestrated and well-connected that we tend to agree with the Republican strategist. It will be hard to beat the President. He connects with the people, where Romney simply doesn't.
