July 5, 2013: In Seattle 14 boats were destroyed when fireworks landed on them and 28 people were injured in Simi Valley when the fireworks display shot off sideways instead of up.
Unfortunately, fireworks are not considered by some to be the actual explosives that they are. The bomb squad had to be called in at the Simi Valley location to destroy the rest of the unexploded fireworks.
