Who is the Service Employees International Union supporting in the District 4 Supervisorial race? Did any of the Calaveras County candidates respond to their request for information? Debbie Ponte tells us that she does not seek union support or contributions, as she wants to be "free of any ties when as a Board member, she has to vote on contracts and other issues." We are checking with the other candidates to see where they stand on union support.
