Matthew Erickson, 32, of Turlock, was driving westbound on Mountain Ranch Rd over the weekend at an unsafe speed, according to CHP, when he allowed his 2006 Honda to travel off the paved roadway while attempting to negotiate a curve.
Erickson ended up striking a fence and the vehicle overturned. He was ejected from the vehicle. According to the CHP, Erickson was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision. He was transported to Mark Twain St. Joseph's Hospital with moderate injuries.
