Mr. Lino Marzi, of Jamestown, passed away at his home on August 29, 2012. He was 94.He had lived in Jamestown for 4 years. Previously he had lived in Angels Camp for 80 years.
Mr. Marzi had been a truck driver for 50 years, was a 50-year member of Ophir Bear Mountain Masonic Lodge #33 in Murphys.
He is survived by his wife Virginia of Jamestown, and 3 children; Michael Marzi of San Andreas, Daniel (Judy) Marzi of Douglas Flat and Brian Marzi of Jamestown, and 2 stepchildren; Patty Gaines and Jim Gaines, both of Angels Camp.
He is also survived by a sister Marina Deaugustino of Crockett, 8 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 11 AM at Ophir Bear Mountain Masonic Lodge #33 in Murphys. Inurnment will be private.
Remeberances can be made to Hospice of the Sierra at 2100 Cedar Road North in Sonora, CA 95370.
Angels Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
