Someone didn't check with someone else on what was going on this weekend in Calaveras County. There are several events piled on top of each other on October 4, 2014. It's usually smarter to schedule your event on an open weekend, but oh, well.
The big event of the day will be the Grape Stomp in Murphys. Then there are Lumberjack Days in West Point or the Pow Wow in Valley Springs. We also hear there is a Goldrush Days event in downtown Angels Camp. Take your pick; the weather is great!
