August 13, 2015 at 2:10 PM: I was so shocked I could hardly believe what I was seeing. I was traveling up Hwy 4 towards Hathaway Pines when I passed the Red Apple on the right.
Parked about 100 yards away on the same side, but just off the roadway
was a small Jeep station wagon I thought looked familiar.
Then as I rounded the curve saw a man standing in the oncoming lane. Cars were swerving to go around him and what was this man doing?
He had a camera and was calmly taking photos of some poor dead deer that was right on the edge of the Highway.
It almost caused a collision as I went by and cars coming the other way were trying to go around this man. Who was this man??? Why, it was Patrick Strohmeyer, who seems to feel he is above the law.
He was fired from the CHP after being turned in by a female officer for beating up a young Hispanic man who was handcuffed in the back of his patrol car and then writing a false report about it.
When I arrived home, I called 911 to report the danger this man was posing to others; just to get some photo for his trophy case; of A DEAD DEER?
When I told them who it was, they seemed to know him.

Isn't this the man who had some type of mental breakdown? He just probably needs help. no family or anything to help him?
Or maybe he's running a business selling dead animal photos?
I think this is the Strmyer that was in my high school for awahile and then left. if it was, he was crazy then. everyone said so.
would somebode actually pay for a photo of a dead deer. what for? to claim they were big brave hunters for ROAD KILL?

I saw that poor dead thing by the highway this morning. Only a tryly sick person would think its a trophy.
