The couple was trapped in their home due to flooding and the phone cut out. Officers were dispatched to the address, where they discovered the river flowing over the long driveway and made it impassable.
They called out the fire department, OES Search and Rescue, a helicopter and finally the National Guard.
Finally around 4:30 AM on March 15, 2023 they reached the home and the high water vehicle took one person out who was transported to the hospital.
Trees had also fallen across the driveway and had to be cleared. It took a lot of people to rescue this couple.
