Attempt to dissuade witness arrest

   According to the Calaveras Sheriff's Office, on November 8, 2019 Brian Michael Lancaster (33)  of Murphys, was arrested  at the Calaveras Courthouse.

   Lancaster was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for allegedly Dissuading a witness through threats.

Jumper on Hwy 99

   CHP and Modesto Police are responding to a report of a 'jumper' on the Woodland Street overpass above Hwy 99 in Modesto.

   October 25, 2019 at 8:45 AM:  Four vehicles and a big rig reportedly collided on Hwy 120 at Airport Way in Manteca.

 October 25, 2019 at 6:30 AM:  A fire reported around 6 AM on Stanley Road in West Point turned out to be a mobile home, with a small amount of surrounding vegetation.

Collision in Sheep Ranch

   Dennis Mills, District 4 Supervisor is up for re-election in 2020.   A very unpopular and extreme right wing nut, apparently, he should be easily beaten if someone moderate runs against him.

   Tofanelli is another vulnerable extreme right winger, who follows whatever a certain church in his district wants him to do, out of fear of recall.

Collision on Hwy 49

  October 7, 2019 at 5 PM:  A head-on collision has been reported on Hwy 49 near Deer Creek Road outside Angels Camp.

   Angels Camp Police Department has just issued a warning that PG&E may shut off the power on Wednesday October 9, 2019.

    They determine who is shut off by heat, wind and condition of the vegetation in the area. Other areas of Calaveras County could also be affected.
