Supervisor Tofanelli corrects the SHERIFF

At today's Calaveras Supervisor meeting, Sheriff DeBasilio came to the podium to speak at length about the Constitutional right not to wear a mask,
based on the 14th amendment.

Supervisor Tofanelli corrected the Sheriff by saying that he had left off the most important part of the 14th amendment, which is "except that covered under "DUE PROCESS" (which means it is against a passed and written law).

DeBasilio didn't even seem to understand that he was being taught a Constitution lesson.

When there were absolutely NO public comments on this item, we knew something was wrong.

People's freedoms and rights END at my nose! No one has a right to infect me, nor do I have a right to infect anyone else. Everyone needs to remember this when citing your rights!!! Wear a mask, it is not that difficult!
