| Sacramento's fire department answered dozens of calls in a 30 minute time span on the 4th |
fireworks over the weekend of the 4th of July, including some in Calaveras County.
Three thousand calls were received in LA alone and Northern California departments were continually responding to fires caused by the dreaded but legal, fireworks.
This was the worst 4th of July ever, as far as fires caused by the fireworks, is concerned. They
should be banned statewide!

This is totally the fault of the counties and the state - ALL fireworks of any kind should be illegal - albeit they are a fund raiser but find something else to use as a fund raiser - not deadly fireworks. How logical this is!!!
