In the March 5, 2024 primary election the winners are:
Measure A Yes 5825 No 4355 Calaveras County now has an additional SALES TAX so that Calaveras Fire District in Mokelumne Hill can get more money!!
Supervisors: Tofanelli vs Tim Grant RUNOFF in District 1*
Folendorf in District 4
Autumn Andahl vs Trevor Wittke RUNOFF in District 2 *
* In the case of no candidate receiving over 50% of the vote, a runoff will be held in November between the top two candidates.

Since it passed let's just hope the revenue from it goes to the fire departments and not spent on non fire department salaries/bonuses, or non fire department projects. It should be spent solely on fire department needs.
And hopefully the funds will be carefully monitored.
