9:40 AM: CHP indicates that the onramp from Hwy 99 to access Charter Way will be closed until 1 PM today.
9:15 AM: CHP has reported that a traffic accident at Hwy 12 and Hwy 99 Freeway in Stockton earlier this morning has resulted in a fatality.
Two vehicles were involved, but the Honda Accord then ran off the road and hit a tree. The lane has been closed for some time for the investigation.
Please be extra cautious while out holiday shopping.
