CCWD has announced that the La Contenta Wastewater Facility has received a Notice of Applicability permit for the La Contenta Golf Course, finally.
This Dentral Valley Regional Qualtiy Control Board permit allows the CCWD to discharge tertiary treated effluent directly into the storage pond on the golf course and the ability to empty the recycled water storage pond every year.
This will also allow more efficient use of the recycle water, due to the govl course being able to vary their irrigation schedule
