At the Monday, December 10, 2012 meeting of the Murphys Sanitary District in Murphys, the Board of Directors will present Ken Airola
with a Resolution and Thank you for his years of service to MSD.
At their last meeting they hired a new law firm to represent them.
The meeting, which begins at 9 AM at the District Office on Big Trees Road, also has an agenda item of discussion with the General Manager Julio Guerra, who has been working part time until a new GM could be found.
Finding someone as capable as Guerra will be difficult and so far, their interviews have not been leading to a hiring.
Also on the agenda is plans to send the Board Members to a class to make them better Board Members. This is an important item and all Boards should make sure their members complete this type of class.

Truely amazing that this District has such a problem keeping good employees and Board Members. What or who is the common denominator?
I believe it was a "who" but not to worry, its a whole new year with new people to run the District. Good Luck!
