Car runs off Hwy 4

    December 27, 2025 at 8:20 AM:  A Toyota has reportedly run off Hwy 4 near Big Trees Park.

     An ambulance is responding to the scene.  Drive carefully as the roads are icy this morning.

Chains required on Hwy 4

   UPDATE December 26, 2025:  Chains are required at Cabbage Patch on Hwy 4 this morning.

   December 24, 2025 at 10:35 AM:  Chains are now required on non-4 wheel drive vekicles on Hwy 4 at Cabbage Patch.

   Drive carefully if headed up to play in the snow.

Collision at Spicer Reservoir

    December 24, 2025 at 10:30 AM:  A vehicle reportedly ran off Hwy 4 near Spicer Road and is now stuck between trees and rocks.

   A tow truck is responding. No injuries are indicated.

Bear Valley got a foot of snow overnight

   
 December 24, 2025:  Looks like skiing is back on at Bear Valley.  They got about a foot of snow overnight.

    Another foot or so is forecast for tonight.  Enjoy. 

Jeep runs off Hwy 49

    December 20, 2025 at 1:40 PM:  A Jeep has reportedly run off Hwy 49 near Big Bar Road in Mokelumne Hill.

   An ambulance is responding to the scene. Jeep hit embankment and rolled over apparently.

Post office vehicle breaks water main?

    December 6, 2025 at 3:30 PM:  A Post Office vehicle possibly struck a fence and a water main on Olive Orchard in Valley Springs.

   They then left the scene. No injuries are indicated.
