We have heard talk that Supervisor Spellman is still upset that his friends didn;t get their shooting range site in Valley Springs.
Maybe he could get his constituents in Rancho to allow it
within District 5. We are aware of a couple of people who live there who loved the idea of a shooting range.
As Supervisor Spellman said at the time, that it would be a great boon to the economy and provide jobs. Is this a wonderful idea?
The residents of District 1 probably think Spellman's district would be a wonderful place for a range. Do the residents of Rancho agree? We will be asking them.
With all the complaints that the Sheriff's Office gets now, we don't thing Spellman's support of a shooting range is a good idea for residents in Rancho. However, if it is what they want, why not in Rancho Calaveras?
He did vote and speak clearly in favor of the Coe project when it came up earlier. We will keep you informed as more information becomes available.

If I remember correctly, he and his wife strongly supported Rico Oller, who is a bear hunter who likes using hounds. Maybe that's why he wants a shooting range in his district.
What's this Calaveras tactical? Looks like an outdoor shooting range.
