Letter to the Editor: Property Rights gone?

   Dear Editor:

Seems everywhere we go these days people are talking down on CalFire and other government agencies, who are trying to take away all of our property rights.

However, we hear nothing about the government clamping down and convicting these hunters, arsonists, and simply careless humans who destroy our forests, wildlife and best parts about California.

They force us to pay $150 a year for them to hire someone to inspect our land; not to fight fires. Then they cut down our forests to give these bio-plants free wood.

We are told what we can and cannot do, even though it is not us who starts these fires, and I'm sick of it. Better stop now, as I get more angry the more I talk.

No one; especially not our new Supervisor, is doing anything to stop this abuse. He's just another liberal.

And if you complain they say you've just got a bad attitude, yeah.

I read an article in the SF paper that they hardly ever put those arsonists behind bars. Hard to believe, but true. I think its one of the worst crimes there are, starting fires.

No different than the water laws. the rich la folks continue on as they always have, while we kill out yards for theml. Nothing ever changes and out water people don't defend us.

Keep voting Republican, the seamless integration of corporations, privatization and the government.

You rubes vote Republican expecting less than fascism- the integration of industry and government?

Ha Ha Ha Ha

I believe Cal Fire needs to inspect all properties with trees that are inter grown in their PG&E service drops. This can cause fires.

Libertarians can go to hell when their "private property" can cause a wild fire.
Cal Fire used to inspect for defensible space, and service drops, they need to use the fire fee for this, what it should be for.

You don't "own" the surrounding land, others do. You are criminal, and should be fined, or made to pay to mitigate fire hazards, such as over grown electricity service drops.Or, what an idea, personal responsibility- take care of your self.Either way we as a community should not be threatened by moron "property rights" morons.

dear inspector moron:
Obviously you don't even have an IQ to know that PG&E takes care of their own inspections.
You are the criminal, and it figures you are a Republican. Their IQ's get lower with every presidential candidate that enters.

That guy who doesn't like property rights should have any weapons removed from his property. And checked for all possible code violations, including his shack and house.

they really need to clean up after people who collect and or sell junk on their property. now that's a fire hazard. but the real blame is the smokers, hunters, careless campers, etc.

I heard PG&E, if not already, won't be accepting biomass generated electricity.
