UPDATE: As of 8:30 AM the roadway is clear per CHP.
CHP is still in the process of clearing a traffic accident that occurred on Garner Place in Rancho Calaveras around 7:40 AM.
Apparently a Honda Civic ran off the road and hit a pole with a transformer on it. PG&E has been requested to check the integrity of the pole.
No injuries were reported. A tow truck has been dispatched to the scene. Use caution in that area.
