February 24, 2022 at 9 AM: A hit and run was reported by an employee of Red Apple
Ranch Subdivision off Hwy 4.Someone had apparently run over a stop sign and broken through a chain across the roadway and then left the area.
The Sheriff's office said no one was in the area and it was cold so it was not safe for a deputy to respond at that time. HUH??
