Martin Huberty and one other file to run for District 3 Supervisor

    Since Merita Callaway has decided not to run for District 3 Supervisor again, two residents
have filed with the elections office to run in Calaveras County.

   Martin Huberty, head of the Calaveras Visitors Bureau and the Calaveras Chamber of Commerce, lives in Murphys and has been a supporter of Callaway for years.

   The other filer is Lisa Muetterties, a realtor in Arnold, a big campaigner for Oliveira, who lost in the last election.

   Muetterties was appointed by Oliveira to be on the Planning Commission and the two were responsible for the mess of the Moose Bridge among other problems in District 3.
