Cows on Murphys Grade Road

   October 2, 2013:  At around 9 AM cows were reportedly causing a traffic hazard on the Murphys Grade Road.  CHP is enroute and trying to locate the owner.

   Three well-known companies went public today and will be listed on the New York Stock

Cows on Roadway in Salt Spring Valley

    October 2, 2013:   At 8:23 AM it was reported that around 7 or 8 cows are walking on the roadway at Hunt Road and Salt Spring Valley Road in Salt Spring Valley.

 

Overturned vehicle in Railroad Flat

   October 2, 2013:  An overturned vehicle was reported as a hit and run a little after 7 AM at Railroad Flat Rd at Wells Fargo Station Road.

   Use caution in the area while emergency vehicles take care of the situation. At first reported as no injuries is now victim with head injuries.

13 year old girl survives r/ock slide

   Five people from the same family were killed when rocks the size of cars fell on them while they were hiking in Colorado.

   The 13-year-old who survived said that her father shielded her from the rocks.

White Pines Man Arrested

   According to the Calaveras Sheriff's Office, on September 30, 2013 at around 4 PM, Robert Victor Carroll (48)  of White Pines

Sheriff Called to Despatch injured deer after 2 hours

  October 1, 2013: On Hwy 88 at Woods Rd in Amador County, an injured deer that was reported at 12:27 PM is finally reported to the Sheriff there to be despatched (shot), 2 hours later.

   Why is it that an animal has to lay there suffering for so long?

Jeep on Fire in Copperopolis

  October 1, 2013 at 11:26 AM:  A Jeep Cherokee is reportedly on fire at 1331 Obyrnes Ferry Rd in Copperopolis.  Emergency crews are enroute.

   This is near the Copper Cove exit. The vehicle was still moving when reported.

Fire at Hwy 99 and Hwy 88

  October 1, 2013 at 10:46 AM:  A grass fire was reported at Hwy 99 and Hwy 88 (Waterloo) in Stockton.  Emergency fire crews are on their way. Avoid the area if possible.

Large Black Cow on Ellngwood Hill

   CHP received a report that a large black cow is on Hwy 12 at Ellingwood Hill. Use caution if driving in that area.

Playoffs: Dodgers Play Braves Thursday, A's play Detroit

  The National League Division playoffs have the LA Dodgers playing the Atlanta Braves on Thursday October 3, 2013 in Atlanta for the first game in the 5 game series.
