Chains required on Hwy 4

    April 21, 2026 at 8:45 AM:  Caltrans is requiring chains on all non 4 wheel drive vehicles at Cabbage Patch on Hwy 4.

   Drive carefully if headed for the mountains. The snow is really coming down at Bear Valley, although they are closed for the season.

Vehicle stuck on gravestones

    April 18, 2026 at 4 PM;  A car has run off Church Hill Road and into the cemetery in San Andreas, where it is now stuck over the top of gravestones.

  It isn't yet known if there are any injuries. A tow truck is responding to try and free the car.

    Several engines are responding to the scene.
