Flue fire on Bear Clover Court

   November 7, 2022 at 2:35 PM:  A flue fire has been reported at a house on Bear Clover Court in Arnold.

   Several engines are responding to the scene.  Thanks for the flume info.

Head-on collision in Copperopolis

    November 7, 2022 at 8:40 AM:  A head-on traffic collision has been reported at the Obyrnes Ferry Bridge in Copperopolis.

   An ambulance is responding to the scene.  This is on the Tuolumne side of the bridge.

"NICE" pig in the road

    November 5, 2022 at 9:30 AM:  A"Nice" pig is reportedly walking in the roadway  at Tuolumne Road and Carter Road, near Black Oak Casino.

   Animal Services have been notified. CHP will clear the roadway as soon as possible.

Black cow out in Avery

    November 4, 2022 at 2:20 PM:  A black cow is reportedly out on Moran Road at Avery Hotel Road in Avery.

   Be extra cautious until CHP can locate the owner and clear the roadway.

Collision on Tulloch bridge

    November 4, 2022 at 9:35 AM:  A collision has been reported on Obyrnes Ferry Road on the bridge over Tulloch in Copperopolis.

   No injuries have been indicated.

Burn permits required

    Effective November 4, 2022 at 8 AM the burn permit suspension is lifted in Calaveras and Tuolumne counties.

   You must have an up-to-date burn permit issued by Calfire to burn yard waste.

Traffic collision in San Andreas

    November 3, 2022 at 8:15 AM:  A traffic collision has been reported on Gold Strike Road at Nielson Road in San Andreas.

   No injuries have been indicated.

Ebbetts Pass and Sonora Pass closed

   November 1, 2022:  Caltrans has closed Hwy 4 at Lake Alpine and Sonora Pass (Hwy 108) due to the incoming storm.

    It is predicted that several inches of snow will fall at the higher elevations in the Sierras.
