Traffic Accident in San Andreas

   UPDATE at 11:15 AM:  We were just notified that the roadway is now clear.

 We just learned the last of the donors to Michael (Spellman) Oliveira's campaign and we are in shock.

    Mixed up among Bay Area people, was a local lawyer who we would never have guessed has such conflicts of interest involving the GUN THUG CAMPAIGN and threats and violence.

   In fact, denied having anything to do with the campaign in June. OMG!! Many more details on this coming soon.

Traffic Accident in Volcano

   November 13, 2014 at 11:40 AM:  A traffic accident was reported on Pine Grove Volcano Road and Volcano Pioneer Road in Volcano.

   An ambulance is en route due to injuries.

They Stole my Pot!--They stole my Pot!

   Believe it or not, the Calaveras Sheriff's Office sent out a press release that they are seeking three men in connection with a POT theft from a house in West Point. OMG!!!

  Interesting what gets the Sheriff's attention. Certainly NOT burglaries in District 3 Ebbetts Pass.

Vehicle runs off Parrotts Ferry Road

   November 13, 2014 at 10 AM:  A vehicle has run off Parrotts Ferry Road near Natural Bridges.

   Emergency vehicles are en route to the scene. Use extra caution if in that area.

UPDATE on Dusty Costa

  We learned this morning that Dusty Costy was hospitalized, had his foot treated and anti-biotics given intravenously and is doing much better.

  He wants to thank all those who were concerned, called and wrote to him.

Molly Maxwell "The Telephone Lady"

   UPDATE:  The Celebration of Life for Molly Maxwell will be held on Friday, November 21, 2014 at 11 AM at San Andreas Memorial Chapel.

   Molly Sue Maxwell, manager of the Valley Springs office of Calaveras Telephone and known as "The Telephone Lady" has died. She was 52.

Elvis and Brando portraits bring nearly $151 million

   Andy Warhols painting of both Elvis and Marlon Brando went up for auction and they set a record for prices.

   Together they sold for $151 million.

Mitch McConnell elected leader of the Senate

  In a unanimous verbal vote, Mitch McConnell has been re-elected as leader of Republicans in the Senate.

   He will be the majority leader in January, when Republicans take over. He is hoping to squelch minority divisions in the party. Good luck to him.

Traffic Accident in Angels Camp

  November 13, 2014 at 8:45 AM:  CHP is just clearing an accident involving a grey sedan running off the road and into a ditch at Hwy 4 and Appaloosa in Angels Camp.

   No injuries were reported. Use extra caution our there today.

Burglary suspect arrested in Angels Camp--PD busy in November

   According to Angels Camp Police, on November 3, 2014 at approximately 9:45 PM, the Angels Camp Police Department took a burglary report

Traffic Accident at Stevenot Bridge

   UPDATE:  Now we are getting reports that a vehicle actually went over the side at the Stevenot Bridge. We will check for details.

Wet Pavement--Drive Carefully

   The much needed rain is wonderful, but be extra careful driving on the wet pavements.

   The best thing about the rain in Ebbetts Pass is that the road workers are off today. Hooray!!

Bret Harte High student arrested

   According to Angels Camp Police, on November 10, 2014 at approximately 12:55 PM the Angels Camp Police Department received a report of a battery on a school employee
