Toyota vs big rig in Clements

    September 30, 2022 at 12:50 PM:  A collision has been reported between a big rig and a Toyota pickup on Clements Road and Hwy 12 in Clements.

   Elderly people in Toyota have head injuries.  An ambulance is responding.

Vehicle 50' down hillside

    September 30, 2022 at 11 AM:  A vehicle has run off Buchanan Mine Road and 50' down the hillside outside Tuolumne.

   An ambulance and tow truck are responding to the scene.  The vehicle is upside down. The fire department is at the scene.

Head-on collision in Sonora

    September 30, 2022 at 7:45 AM:  A head-on collision has been reported at Hwy 108 and Hess Avenue in Sonora.

   An ambulance is responding. One person is pinned in. The roadway has been closed.

Generator stolen from county yard

    According to the Calaveras Sheriff, a theft has been reported from the Sheriff's Search and Rescue Team, a Honda generator.

   It was stored in the Arnold Calaveras County yard and was used by Search and rescue for off-grid power when necessary. The fence had been cut to gain entrance to the yard.

Collision in Copperopolis

    September 26, 2022 at 3:55 PM:  A Honda reportedly ran through a fence and into a yard on Bear Claw Drive in Copperopolis.

    Apparently a woman is arguing with a firefighter and her vehicle registration is expired.

NASA plans to hit asteroid with rocket

    NASA announced plans to use a rocket to strike an asteroid and try to change its direction.

   The purpose of this action is to test and see if they can use this process if an asteroid should be headed for earth.

Collision in Mokelumne Hill

    September 26, 2022 at 9:45 AM:  A Ford Explorer and a Toyota Camry have reportedly collided on Hwy 26 near Andrew in Mokelumne Hill.

   An ambulance is responding to the scene. The entire roadway is blocked.

Jeep strikes pole in Pine Grove

    September 26, 2022 at 8:30 AM:  A Jeep reportedly struck a pole and overturned on Irishtown Road in Pine Grove.

   Two juvenile got out ok. A third person had to be extricated.  An ambulance is responding. PG&E will need to replace the pole.

Ford Explorer vs tree in Valley Springs

    September 25, 2022 at 10:25 AM:  A Ford Explorer reportedly left Hogan Dam Road and struck a tree in Valley Springs.

    It isn't known if there are injuries.

Fatality in Escalon

    September 25, 2022 at 7 AM:  A vehicle that reportedly ran off Steinegel Road near Hwy 108 in Escalon overturned into the canal.

   One person did not survive in this incident.  A tow truck has been dispatched. A truck and flat bed trailer were involved in this collision.

Collision on Hwy 88

    September 24, 2022 at 1:30 PM:  A collision has reportedly occured on Hwy 88 near Liberty Road in Clements.

   An ambulance is responding to the scene.

Bear injured on Hwy 4

     September 24, 2022 at 11:45 AM:  A young bear has reportedly been struck by vehicles several timesat Hwy 4 and Red Tail Hawk.

    The poor cub is badly injured.   CHP is at the scene.  SLOW DOWN and WATCH for WILDLIFE!! Don't be a killer!!!!
