CHP has just dispatched a unit to the Hwy 12 and Southworth area of Valley Springs due to reports of a deer in the Hwy.
Use extra caution as there may be patchy fog in the area. We have now put deer warning whistles on our vehicles. They are only around $10, and give the deer at least a chance to escape.
