How Big is the White House?

How many square feet does the White House have?  If you watched the Christmas White House decoration special on HGTV, you know
that it is 55,000 square feet.

They bring in 85 volunteers who spend three days decorating all of the rooms, halls, offices, etc.

One tree has blown clear glass ornaments that are each filled with soil, moss and plants. The only other ornaments are pine cones. Gorgeous. See the special if you get a chance.

We couldn't even count the total number of Christmas trees, but the main big one had about 25 men setting it up.
