UPDATE: At 8:07 PM CHP was notified that the cow is still in the road.
5:35PM: CHP has just received a report of a traffic hazard at Calaveritas and Old Gulch Rd. A CHP unit is enroute to the scene.
It appears to be a cow. Having trouble locating the owner. Use extra caution if driving in that area.
