CHP was notified around 11:55 AM that a pickup hit a deer on Hwy 49 at Middle Bar Road in Amador County.
The driver said his vehicle is still driveable, that he is going back to see if the deer is still alive.
CHP is enroute to the scen. Watch for deer!!! For your own good and the benefit of the deer.
