What is the Truth About Apple and Jobs?

In the past and now in a recent interview, Apple CEO's fail to agree on the path to create or sustain jobs in the U.S.

Tim Cook, the current CEO made a claim that Apple has created about 600,000 jobs in the U.S. However, the facts look a little different.

And in the past Founder Steve Jobs had told the President he would not be bringing jobs back to the U.S.

First of all, we found that Apple hires 700,000 contract workers, most in foreign countries. Only about 43,000 actually work for Apple in the U.S.

Then there are another 20,000 or so who are Apple employees overseas.  FoxConn, the company who makes i-pads overseas, had an explosion that killed 3 people last year, according to AP. 10 others committed suicide in 2012, according to another AP report.

Apparently, under the new CEO Tim Cook, Apple has not been able to keep up the momentum that was Steve Jobs, before he passed away a year ago. What will happen to their stock price if this continues is unclear.
