We can't often say that FOX NEWS' John Stossel is right about his opinions, but the one about the local
and even rural police being handed military weapons has proven to be right in Missouri.
After an officer killed an unarmed black teen, protests broke out all over the town of Ferguson, where the population is 50% black but there are only 3 black policemen.
Last night, the peaceful protests were met with tanks, military weapons and riot gear. President Obama finally got involved and warned them that they are lighting the fuse on a powder keg, instead of calming the situation.
In Calaveras County, we worry that this would happen to women, who we know not to be respected by our current Sheriff Kuntz. Would he send in the tanks? We believe so.
