On November 14, 2014 at 12:01 AM the Calaveras Sheriff's Office arrested Joshua Wallace (39) of Arnold on New Mackee Dam Road in Arnold for alleged Evading a Peace Office with Reckless Disregard for Saftey, Assault with a Deadly Weapon, not a Firearm, Obstructing or Resisting an Officer, Possession of Controlled Substance for Sale, Burglary and Vehicle Theft, all felonies; and for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Driving Under the Influence, Possession of Marijuana over 28.5 grams, and Possession of Burglary tools, both misdemeanors. In addition there were three traffic infractions.
Wallace was booked into the Calaveras County Jail.

The deputy had quite a struggle with this guy and backup was several minutes away. Heard this on the scanner around 9 last night.
