Terry Wayne Guyton of Mountain Ranch

   Terry Wayne Guyton, a longtime resident of Mountain Ranch, passed away at his home of unknown causes on November 3, 2014. He was 68.


   Born on June 20, 1946 in Los Angeles to parents Harry Grant Guyton and Connie Theresea Guyton-Whickey, he grew up in a military family and traveled throughout the world.

   He graduated from San Jose State University with a major in recreational therapy and served in the military in Vietnam as a Captain in the Air Force.

   He was retired from the San Jose Police Department. He was a member of the American Legion, he collected guns, he was a prepper, liked playing in the yard, spending time with his family, woodworking and was an avid motorcyclist.

   He is survived by his wife Debrah Guyton of Mountain Ranch, children Niccle Guyton of Portland, Oregon, Katrina Smith of Chicago, Illinois, Jillian Sandbothe of South Lake Tahoe, Victoria
Saunders of Denver Colorado and his beloved cat Hannah.

   He was also an adoptive father to:  Jean Everly of goose Creek, South Carolina, Annie JOses of Lodi, Jess Ramires of Valley Springs, Kellie Eltringham of Murphys, and Gavin Montgomery of South Lake Tahoe.

   He was adoptive Opa to:  George Blake, Nikki Everly, Gavin Barnhouse, Tyler Barnhouse, Penelope Morrera, and Benjamin Morrera.

   He was former Opa to Miles May and Madeline May.

   He will be cremated and kept at home.  A small family service will be held at a later date. No open visitation or services will be held.

  In leiu of gifts please donate to the local animal shelter, as Terry was an avid animal lover.
