Tiger Fire scared West Point

    The Tiger Fire in Amador county, was so close to the Calaveras County line, that

evacuations were ordered in West Point.

   Fortunately the fire seemed to travel the other direction. All evacuation orders have been rescinded and the fire is now 30% contained at 118 acres.

  The cause is under investigation.
