PG&E reducing fire risk?

After so many PG&E caused fires in California, PG&E arrived at a decision to mitigate the fire danger with their overhead lines by stuffing them and the transformers in big boxes alongside the roads.

In addition to being an ugly addition to our beautiful forest, it simply needs to be crashed into by a car on the ground now to start a fire.

The power lines, which once carried around 4000 volts of power ( in the 60's) now carry around 23,000 volts of power--in the same exact lines.

Anything to save money and lull the public into a false sense of security with fire danger arriving soon.
