Fatal collision on Hwy 49

   April 3, 2017 at 9:50 AM:  A collision on Hwy 49 near Plymouth has resulted in a fatality per CHP.

   Emergency personnel are currently at the scene. Be cautious if in that area.

Collision on Hwy 26

   April 3, 2017 at 7 AM:  A traffic collision has been reported on Hwy 26 near Olive Branch Lane in the Rancho Calaveras area.

   Emergency responders are en route to the scene. Be cautious if headed that way.

Anyone out buying cigarettes today? Yikes!!

    So good to hear that tobacco products have another larger tax on them now. What a total waste of money and damage to our children.

   They should add another $5 a pack next time!!

Now that the dog poisoning Nazi snow teletubb.....

     Calaveras county can relax a little now that the third Nazi snow teletubb who is believed to be the instigator has been turned into the correct authorities and management locally.

   Showing the photo around on the flyer has netted more information about that criminal tubb than we ever imagined.  If it saves even one animal from the filthy three Nazi tubbs, we'll be happy.

Final four not in basketball

   Did anybody win the final four picks in their brackets?  Uh, no!  But the most important final four these days has nothing to do with sports.

   Trump, Pence, Bannon and Spicer are the REAL final four and its much more fun to watch them make fools of themselves and cover up that is basketball. Sorry Ducks!!

    Daffodils must be blooming on Daffodil Hill in Amador County.

   CHP is conducting traffic controls in the area.

Horses on the loose in Jamestown

   April 1, 2017 at 10 AM:  Horses have been reported on the loose on Seco Road near Rolling Hills Drive in Jamestown.

   Several parties have tried to contain them without success.  CHP is en route to the area.

Burglary in Murphys

  On March 31, 2017 a burglary was reported at a residence on Tom Bell Road in Murphys.

   The Calaveras Sheriff's Office took a report of the incident.

Burglary in Railroad Flat

   On March 31, 2017 a burglary was reported at a residence on Hofeditz Road in Railroad Flat.

   The Calaveras Sheriff took a report. No other details are available at this time.

Collision on Hwy 12

   April 1, 2017 at 9 AM:  A traffic collision has been reported on Hwy 12 near Central Hill outside San Andreas.

    No injuries were indicated and the vehicles are out of the roadway.
