    UPDATE:  Hwy 26 is closed at Mokelumne Hill as of 7:45 PM.  It has been mentioned that there are suspects involved in starting this fire. No other details.

    On the Angels Camp City Council agenda for July 5, 2022 is a first reading for approval of the police department to acquire 'military equipment'.

   It indicates they also plan to USE it.  WHY?  Has Angels Camp become that bad?
