    June 21, 2023 at 8:45AM: A car has run off Joaquin Gully Road and into Ed's bar in  Twain Harte.

   An ambulance is responding to the scene.

Burning banned????????????????????????

    After burn permits were suspended for 2023 yesterday, a giant plume of smoke rose above

ALL FIRE PERMITS suspended

    DO NOT BURN!!  All burn permits are now suspended until further notice.  So many private burns escape and we do not need any more fires.

   NO BURNING 2023!!  Thank you CAL FIRE! 

Loose goats on Milton Road

    June 16, 2023 at 8:30 AM:  Several goats are reportedly loose on Milton Road at Jenny Lind Road in Valley Springs.

   It isn't yet clear who the owner is, but be extra cautious if in the area.

Rocks and Gravel on Hwy 12

    June 14, 2023 at 3:20 PM:  Rocks and gravel have spilled onto Hwy 12 after a big rig rock hauler blew a tire at Hwy 12 and Double Springs Road.

  The semi pulled over, but be extra cautious for the rocks on the roadway.

Loose cow on Parrotts Ferry Road

    June 13, 2023 at 9 AM:  A cow is reportedly out on Parrotts Ferry Road near Natural Bridges outside Vallecito.

   CHP is attempting to locate the owner.

Car Fire becomes grass fire

   June 12, 2023 at 3:30 PM:  A car fire at Lake Camanche has become a grass fire on the Amador County side of the lake.

   Several engines and water tenders are responding to the scene. 

Ebbetts Pass Hwy 4 now open

    After a lot of hard work by Caltrans, Hwy 4 over Ebbetts Pass is now open to the public.

    A lot of snow was moved out of the way. Enjoy!!
