All the catch phrases used....at Calaveras Planning Commission

We heard just about every little catch phrase during the speeches about whether or not to approve "Sawmill" by Castle & Cooke on December 13, 2012.

We heard "Field of Dreams," "Square Peg in a round hole", etc. plus newly created ones, such as "Copper town square fenced up", "Copper had mostly druggies before," and then the final one by Dave Haley "I want a continuance", all to try and influence the Planning Commissioners.

Calaveras County at it's finest. Not the most entertaining meeting (no fistfights or even signs waving), but heartfelt and well thought out speeched by mamy members of the community.

We can be proud of this particular meeting, well handled by Rebecca Willis.

Some folks are kinda shocked that Haley keeps on blaming the county.....while bragging that he has been doing this for 50 years. Cant play stupid and genius at the same time. Haley knew what the socre was the day he bought that land.
