Binge Drinking a Problem in Military, so...

With binge drinking becoming a more serious problem in the military, the United States Marine Corp has decided to get tough on drinkers.

A study noted that "alcohol has long been part of military culture" professors who made the study, called for better leadership from the top of the chain of command in curbing excess drinking.

Starting in January 2013, twice a year random blood alcohol tests will be administered to Marines and sailors. If they test 0.01 or higher, they will be referred for counseling.

If they test 0.04 or higher, they will be referred to medical personnel to determine his or her fitness for duty.
